The design and development of new models begin at House of Eponia’s studio in southern Sweden, where function-led innovation meets equestrian expertise. Every concept is created with the horse’s anatomy in focus. We refine each pattern through extensive measurement studies , testing, and rider feedback, ensuring optimal pressure distribution, freedom of movement, and a balanced fit.

SOURCING BY DESIGN

Our leather supply chain is built on respect for resources. We partner exclusively with certified European tanneries that meet rigorous environmental and animal-welfare standards, including REACH compliance and independent auditing programs such as LWG. Leather hides are traceable to its origin, ensuring ethical sourcing and consistent performance.

We currently use two European tanneries for our leather both of the certified by LWG.

Quality by DESIGN

Our skilled craftspeople begin by carefully selecting the strongest part of the hide — the full-grain butt leather, located along the backbone where fibers are naturally denser and more durable. This first-grade material is then expertly cut and shaped to ensure every piece meets the demands of premium equestrian use.

Through traditional techniques and precise workmanship, the leather is transformed into finished pieces of exceptional strength, comfort, and longevity. 

SUSTAINABILITY BY DESIGN

To reduce our environmental impact, we ensure that all our airfreight shipments  world wide are CO₂-compensated. By choosing responsible logistics partners with verified compensation programs, we help support renewable energy, forest conservation, and global climate protection initiatives. 

This approach allows us to combine fast delivery with a firm commitment to sustainability — ensuring that product performance and customer service never come at the expense of the planet.

Once quality-checked and documented, our leather goods — including our meticulously crafted bridles — are prepared for distribution from our dedicated warehouse.
